What is Anarcha Feminism??

Although opposition to the state and all forms of authority had a strong voice among the early feminists of the 19th century, the more recent feminist movement which began in the 1960’s was founded upon anarchist practice. This is where the term anarcha-feminism came from, referring to women anarchists who act within the larger feminist and anarchist movements to remind them of their principles.

Diseases on the Rise: A report warns of the danger of installing a plant biotech company Monsanto in a locality in Argentina.

According to Arnulphi Cristina, member of the Union of Citizen Assemblies, the installation would have catastrophic consequences.

The survey, conducted by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cordoba, concluded that it was recommended that Monsanto NOT build the plant in the municipality of Malvinas Argentinas, located about 35 kilometers from Buenos Aires, due to its current health situation.

Researchers detected at that site congenital malformations, spontaneous abortions and respiratory and skin diseases, caused precisely by the spraying of the fields found in neighboring towns. Continue reading

In the last few days a wave of anti government demonstrations have  transformed into mass looting which is still spreading looting the insane systemacross the country. People have lost all faith in yet another round of austerity and cutbacks to please the 1% controlled markets in this resource rich country.

Union leader Hugo Moyano, who opposes the government’s economic policies, dismissed the government’s accusations of a left wing plot and organised robbery.

“This is probably triggered by the difficult situation the people of Argentina are facing. I cannot imagine that this has been organised by someone,” said Mr Moyano, head of the powerful CGT union. Continue reading

Repsol YPF amenaza con el ‘fracking’ una región argentina.
Con el truco de declarar ‘nuevos’ depósitos que podrían ser explotados con la nueva técnica de ‘fracking’ Repsol ha ganado 5% en valor, no sé cuantos milion. No les importa que ‘fracking’ envenena permanentement el acuífer.
Pero los depositos de hydrocarburos ya conocidas son más que suficientes para llevar el Cambio Climático al límite absoluto de +2·C , así que
las prospecciones de Repsol son crimenes masivos contra el futuro de la tierra, denegando una vida a nuestros hij*s y condenando miles o miliones de especies maravilosas a la extinción.
