The Sting: Activist films Cops coercing and bribing him to be Police Spy

SCANDAL IN BARCELONA; Video released of Police coercing activist to spy on anarchist movemenQuim Gomero video
Instead of collaborating our comrade courageously arranged for video and audio recordings that were made public and his lawyer hopes to bring a case against the police for threats and blackmail.,
Quim Gomero (pronunced Kim) is a Barcelona activist awaiting trial on ‘terrorist’ charges after the Operation Pandora  and Piñata police raids and arrests in homes and anarchist social centers last year.
The police have little or no evidence against the dozens of defendants who will spend years suffering and fighting the cases. The only case relating to a real incident The ‘firework in the Church’ has already been tried. Mónica and Francisco got 12 years each, with zero concrete evidence against them.
Crucially Monica and Fran were aquitted of forming an anarcho-terrorist group  (the so called C AG/ FAI / FRI), which was confirmed to be non existant. Almost the only real evidence against all the other defendants in the Piñata/Pandora cases was allegedly being part of this anarchist terrorist conspiracy now confirmed by the courts to be a police invention. The police are desperately and illegally fishing for new evidence

“You wouldn’t want your boss to know at work that you have an anarchist court case, would you?”

by The Rebellion of Words
Videos are circulating on Internet showing conversations where two individuals coerce and try to force or bribe an activist, Quim Gimeno, to become a police informer. At first they pose as journalists from the agency EFE (which later confirmed knows nothing about them), but in subsequent meetings admitted working for “state security”.

The two individuals coerced our comrade, threatening to reveal in his work everything related to his Court Case (as he is one of the people charged in Operation Pandora) and offered economic considerations, (reportedly 200 euros a month) besides offering to exert influence within the open proceedings against him if he agreed to obtain and provide information about our comrades Mónica and Francisco (who have appealed against their conviction without evidence) , and other female and male activists and militant anarchists in the city.
They also asked him to inform on activities in occupied cultural centers and other libertarians spaces in neighborhoods of Barcelona, especially Poble Sec.monica and francisco trial
The companion, who distrusted the identity of the two individuals from the beginning, was gradually confirmed in his suspicions but decided to continue with the meetings to see how far it would go, he contacted reporters from the alternative weekly The Direct  ( La Directa) who filmed these meetings with hidden cameras, while Gimeno began recording the conversations. Thanks to this it has been possible to access video and audio documentation that confirms all this and reveals the attempt of these two individuals to “buy” our comrade as an informer, which of course failed.
