Rojava is the start. There is lots to do. We need skilled and revolutionary people who are motivated. We need specialists of all kinds.

Rojava is a New Revolutionary Confederation

Rojava is an autonomous region in north Syria. The region gained its autonomy in the summer of 2012 in the process of the Syrian uprising, establishing a society based on principles of direct democracy, gender equity, and sustainability. Rojava consists of the three cantons called Jazira, Kobani and Afrin.

What’s The Plan?

In 1 year, we are going to implement these projects. Bringing the latest decentralized solutions to Rojava.
Natural medicine research

Natural medicine

Discover pure local medicines. Lets research this ecology and find new natural cures. We can stop the embargo against good health – everyone deserves to be healthy.

Earthbag construction

Earthbag construction

Earthbag (or superadobe) is a low-cost ecological method of building nice houses with natural temperature regulation. It uses local materials. Perfect for a country under embargo where concrete is very expensive.

Kurdish Ubuntu

Kurdish Ubuntu

We are making the world’s first Kurdish operating system, and developing a school curriculum based off free software. We need hackers and free software enthusiasts.

Solar panels fabrication

Solar panels

Solar panels become cheaper and better every year. We are creating a fabrication plant in Rojava to solve Rojava’s electrical needs in an ecological way.

3D printing has many applications

3D printing

We need 3D printers! 3D printers can create replacement arms and legs, tools for labs and schools, and even make metal moulds. There are many possibilities, and Rojava needs this tech.

Plastic greenhouses

Plastic greenhouses

Rojava has a water problem. It doesn’t help that Turkey is building dams. These greenhouses trap water inside, and allows more variety of crops to be grown.

Look, the KRG (Kurdistan Regional Government) has enacted a total embargo against Rojava which makes it impossible to bring anybody over the border at the moment.

The border with Bakur (Turkish-occupied Kurdistan) is also not an option because of the war going on there.

We are making a list of all the people who want to come. You can still apply but it will realistically take us at least until summer before we can bring people over again.victorious_rojava_by_party9999999-d909rst

  1. Here’s an interesting social proposal that the people of Rojava might be interested in. While it would be impossible for the people of Rojava to copy their ideas exactly, given their lack of technology and outside resources, they may be able to copy a couple of ideas and they could use The Venus Project as a long term goal for the future.
