School students block main highways in Barcelona 27 /09/17
Student unions caledl for a mobilization from the classrooms between Wednesday and Friday.
Students are expected to block roads, occupy buildings and are supported by the teachers, and left wing unions. the State prosecutors sent warnings that teachers and parents will be held responsible for any damage.
The Student Union also convened a general strike at High Schools on Wednesday 27, and urged students to join the demonstrations planned at noon.

The unitary platform “Universities for the Republic” has called a two-day strike in Catalan universities – Thursday, 28, and Friday, 29 – to denounce what they consider “the judicial and police prosecution we suffer from the Spanish State and the hidden state of emergency that has been installed in Catalonia “.
Catalan Police have been ordered by the Central Govt to seal off the over 2000 polling stations before Sunday and charge those responsible for allowing them, many of them school principles.
The local police have neither the capacity nor the will to break up the expected mass pickets, and National and paramilitary forces are being deployed.
The Student Platform spokesman, Jordi Vives, has demanded that next Sunday, he can vote.“That on October 1 the referendum can be held in full normality in order to start the path to the constituent process.”
The students have confirmed that they will keep up the occupation of the historic building of the University of Barcelona to make it a meeting point for the people mobilized.The Lleida and Girona Universities are also permanently occupied
The parties and organizations that support the platform and the call for strike are: AEP, AJEC, AJUP, Arran, ANJI, CEUCAT, CNJC, FNEC, Students Front, JCC, JERC, JNC, SEPC and Unió Joves Pagesos.
For its part, the Union of Students of the Catalan Countries (which includes valencia, The Balearics, parts of France..) have called for two days of strike to high school students.

Spanish State accuses 100,000 Catalans of Sedition
Everyone in this photo below could receive eight to ten years in jail, but from ten to 15 years if they are people who are an authority. The State Attorney General has opened a case for sedition during the 20 Sept. blocking by demonstrators of police raiding Catalan Govt buildings.
The raids were by the paramilitary ex fascist Guardia Civil force, at least 5000 of whom have been drafted into Catalonia to prevent the Referendum on Independence on Sunday 1st October.The crime of sedition, included in article 544 of the Spanish Criminal Code, includes:
“Those who, without being within the rebellion offense, are publicly and tumultuously lined up to prevent, through force or extra legal channels, the application of laws or any authority, … “.
Convocades vagues d’estudiants d’universitat i secundària per defensar l’1-O
Els sindicats d’estudiants convoquen una mobilització a les aules entre dimecres i divendres
La plataforma unitària “Universitats per la República” ha convocat una vaga de dos dies a les universitats catalanes –dijous, 28, i divendres, 29– per denunciar el que consideren “la persecució judicial i policial que patim per part de l’Estat espanyol i l’estat d’excepció encobert que s’ha instal·lat a Catalunya”
El portaveu de la Plataforma, Jordi Vives, ha reclamat que diumenge que ve es pugui votar.
“Que l’1 d’octubre es pugui celebrar el referèndum amb total normalitat per poder iniciar el camí cap al procés constituent.”
Els estudiants han confirmat que mantindran l’ocupació de l’edifici històric de la Universitat de Barcelona per convertir-lo en un punt de trobada de les persones mobilitzades.
Els partits i organitzacions que donen suport a la plataforma i a la convocatòria de vaga són: AEP, AJEC, AJUP, Arran, ANJI, CEUCAT, CNJC, FNEC, Front d’Estudiants, JCC, JERC, JNC, SEPC i Unió Joves Pagesos.
El sindicat de professors USTEC·STEs ha dit que se solidaritza amb els sindicats d’estudiants i demana als professors que no obstaculitzin la mobilització ni posin proves amb efectes acadèmics aquests dies.
