The attack on the anarchists has received wide solidarity and demos across Spain and in Berlin already. On Twitter the trending tag is #OperacionPandora. On Saturday smaller demos will form columns from various Barcelona barrios, meeting up at the main anti Gag Law demo.
At the gates of the National Court dozens of friends and relatives of the detained have picketed all day until the police dispersed and identified the all.
Meanwhile, speaking to the Direct Asens James, one of the lawyers who attends one of the detainees Operation Pandora denounces the opacity of the entire case and says that his client has been declared today without knowing for what is accused, Asens assured that everything is «shameful police and judicial.» Tonight and tomorrow cmore protests were called to denounce the entire operation and several columns of protesters from Barcelona neighborhoods to reach the starting point of the demonstration against the gag law to be held Saturday at noon at the center of the city.

Tuesday morning December 16 suprised us with a wave of searches and arrests … Are we surprised? No, really we are NOT surprised. The Catalan police, (the Mossos d’Esquadra), the paramilitary Civil Guard and bailiffs of the National Court raided more than 10 homes and some local anarchists in Barcelona, Sabadell, Manresa and Madrid, with their searches, arrests, confiscation of propaganda material and computer.
Plus they took this opportunity to raid and loot the Kasa de la Muntanya, an occupied space that just turned 25 years old, using the entire riot Mobile Riot Brigade of the Mossos d’Esquadra, smashing doors with battering rams at 5.00am, steel cutters, even a riot van, holding comrades at gunpoint, including children, for up to 10 hours, smashing by mistake into an old folks home… etc etc the same in two more anarchist social centres.. only to find NOTHING OF TERRORISM

These comrades currently in custody awaiting trial do not know when it will be, nor do we know what this new process will alter its crackdown.
The situation is more or less known by all and if one thing we are certain is that the recent arrests serve to flesh out a case that alone does not hold.
Coincidence?
A few hours before the arrests Tuesday the Spanish government from their media echoed the «ministries of Interior Spain and Chile opened a new phase of enhanced cooperation in the fight against anarchist terrorism«. | La mañana del martes 16 de diciembre nos ha sorprendido con una oleada de registros y detenciones… ¿Nos ha sorprendido? No vamos a mentir. Volvamos a empezar. La mañana del martes 16 de diciembre NO nos ha sorprendido. La policía autonómica catalana, los Mossos d’Esquadra, la Guardia Civil y agentes judiciales de la Audiencia Nacional asaltaron más de 10 domicilios y algunos locales anarquistas en Barcelona, Sabadell, Manresa y Madrid, con sus respectivos registros, detenciones, confiscación de material propagandístico e informático, además de aprovechar la ocasión para allanar y saquear también, utilizando todo el cuerpo antidisturbios de la Brigada Móvil de los Mossos d’Esquadra, la antigua Kasa de la Muntanya, un espacio ocupado que acaba de cumplir 25 años. Según la prensa, evidenciando como siempre su rol de vocero policial, el objetivo de estas detenciones es desarticular “una organización criminal con finalidad terrorista y de carácter anarquista violento”. Aunque suena fácil repetir una frase hecha una vez más, lo haremos: la única organización criminal que busca aterrorizar a la gente con su carácter violento es el Estado y sus tentáculos: la prensa, el aparato jurídico, sus cuerpos represivos y sus políticos, sean del espectro que sean. ¿Por qué no nos ha sorprendido la actuación represiva? Porque la estábamos esperando. No se trata de jugar a ser oráculos ni nada de eso, sino de saber leer entre líneas, y a veces de manera literal, los acontecimientos. Como sucedió con la detención de otros compas el año pasado, desde hace largo tiempo se están orquestando oleadas como la del martes contra entornos libertarios y antiautoritarios, y si bien las diferentes redadas no fueron tan grandes, evidenciaban un horizonte con situaciones de este tipo.Operación “a la italiana” Desde hace un par de décadas el entorno anarquista de la vecina región de Italia vive cada cierto tiempo, y en los últimos años con cada vez más regularidad, macro operaciones similares a la del martes. No sólo en el formato de redadas simultáneas y registros en diferentes casas, también la utilización de nombres que suenen fáciles de recordar y con cierto humor negro, como en esta actual operación, denominada Pandora debido a que este caso, según la prensa repitió de sus fuentes judiciales “era una caja que pese a los numerosos sustos que llevábamos, no había manera de abrir”. Con “numerosos sustos” hacen referencia a diversas acciones que sucedieron en los últimos años en todo el territorio del Estado español. Volviendo a las operaciones italianas, no hay que recordar los nombres de algunas ocurridas en los últimos años, como la Operación Thor, cuyo nombre aludía a la acusación de una serie de ataques con martillos a cajeros automáticos y otras oficinas, la Operación Ixodidae, que hace referencia al nombre técnico de la familia de las garrapatas, la manera en como llamaban los fascistas a los comunistas y anarquistas, u otras como Osadía, Cervantes, Nottetempo, etcétera.  Además del procedimiento y la nomenclatura, un factor que nos recuerda mucho al país vecino es el rol de la prensa, la cual también nos ayudó a visibilizar lo que se avecinaba. Desde hace aproximadamente 3 años o incluso un poco más, la prensa española comenzó una campaña para abonar el terreno de manera tal que operaciones como estas sean no sólo posibles, sino también predecibles. Señalando entornos, incluso en ocasiones espacios o personas con nombres y apellidos, colectivos, etcétera, trabajando en construir una imagen caricaturizada y un tanto bizarra de un enemigo interno, que si bien desde hace décadas es habitual, en los últimos años fue cogiendo un carácter muy específico, el “anarquista violento”, el “insurreccionalista”, el “antisistema que se infiltra en los movimientos sociales”, etcétera.El fiasco chileno El año 2010 fue un año glorioso para el Estado chileno. Además de ser elegido presidente el empresario y cuarta fortuna del país, el derechista Sebastián Piñera, se orquesta una operación policial, mediática y judicial contra el entorno antiautoritario con el saldo de más de una decena de registros y detenciones, conocida como Operación Salamandra, que popularmente se denominó como “Caso bombas” al estar basada en la investigación de una serie de atentados explosivos ocurridos en los años previos, y la creación mediante la imaginería policial de una macroestructura jerárquica de una supuesta red encargada de todas esas detonaciones: un circo que no solamente debilitó la imagen del Estado, además de dejarlo en ridículo, sino que puso en evidencia lo burdo de los procedimientos de investigación, que incluían la falsificación de pruebas, el chantaje o la presión para conseguir informantes o “arrepentidos”, el azar, etcétera. El proceso finalizó con la absolución de todas las imputadas y con una sed de venganza por parte del Estado chileno contra el entorno y las personas investigadas. Un año después de finalizada la farsa del “Caso bombas”, y a través de una operación, esta vez de este lado del charco, los ministerios, juzgados y policías españoles y chilenos trabajaron conjuntamente en un nuevo caso. Mónica Caballero y Francisco Solar, ambos ex procesados en el “Caso bombas” son detenidos en Barcelona, donde vivían en ese momento, junto a otras 3 personas que luego fueron dejadas fuera del caso, acusadas de la colocación de un artefacto explosivo en la Basílica del Pilar de Zaragoza, la conspiración para un hecho similar y la pertenencia a una supuesta organización terrorista. Estos compañeros actualmente se encuentran en prisión preventiva en espera de un juicio que no sabemos cuando será, y tampoco sabemos en qué alterará su proceso esta nueva oleada represiva. La situación es más o menos sabida por todas y si de una cosa estamos seguras es que las detenciones recientes sirven para darle cuerpo a un caso que por sí solo no se sostiene.¿Casualidad? Pocas horas antes de las detenciones del martes el gobierno español hacía eco desde sus medios que los “ministerios del Interior de España y Chile abren una nueva fase de colaboración reforzada en la lucha contra el terrorismo anarquista”. El pasado lunes 15 de diciembre, el ministro del Interior español, Jorge Fernández Díaz, se reunió en Chile con el vicepresidente y también ministro del Interior chileno Rodrigo Peñailillo, en el Palacio de La Moneda, sede del gobierno, en Santiago de Chile. “En la lucha contra el terrorismo, Chile encontrará en España a un sólido aliado”, se jactaba el español, mientras era condecorado con la Gran Cruz a la Orden del Mérito de Chile, “la máxima distinción del país al mérito civil” según la prensa, trofeo que el Estado chileno da en este caso por la labor policial y como premio por la detención de los compañeros Mónica y Francisco el año pasado. Además de elogios y premios, el comercial Fernández fue a vender un poco de lo suyo: adiestramiento policial, judicial, material represivo variado, etcétera.Y lo que vendrá… ¿Cuál es el siguiente paso represivo? No sabemos. De momento poco se sabe de cómo se encuentran nuestros compañeros y compañeras, de qué se les acusa exactamente, a qué medidas represivas serán sometidas, si entran en prisión preventiva o no, etcétera. Lo cierto es que esta operación no es un hecho aislado, sino que se anilla como un eslabón más de una cadena. Una cadena represiva por momentos brutal y por otros sutil, en la que entran desde las nuevas leyes (no hay más que pensar en la reciente Ley Mordaza), el asedio a los sin papeles mediante cada vez más enormes redadas racistas, la brutalidad policial, hasta la aspiración a gestionar la miseria y administrar la represión, que después de todo es lo que hace el Estado, por parte de una pseudo-izquierda (con Podemos a la cabeza) que es de manera cada vez más evidente una parodia de sí misma. Desahucios, palos, fascismos, endurecimientos legales y punitivos de toda índole, espejismos nacionalistas y socialdemócratas, es lo que nos deparará el presente. No hay que esperar nada peor, lo peor nunca se ha ido. El abanico de posibilidades del antiterrorismo español es un cajón de sastre en el que todo cabe. Se encuentra ahí, a la vista, para recordarnos que para el Estado luchar es terrorismo. Funciona como un espantapájaros. ¿Nos vamos a asustar? El Estado y sus agentes dicen haber abierto la caja de Pandora. En la mitología griega, Pandora es el equivalente a la Eva bíblica. Con la misoginia característica de ambas mitologías, Pandora abre su caja, al igual que Eva come su manzana, y libera todos los males que allí se encuentran. Nosotros somos capaces de crear nuestra propia narración y pasarnos por donde mejor nos parezca su mierda mitológica. Nuestra historia es diferente. La “caja” que ha abierto esta operación represiva nos insta a actuar, a no bajar la guardia, a estar atentas a los pasos siguientes de su cuento. Nos hace pensar y repensar cual es el mundo que queremos y cual es la distancia de ese mundo con éste. Nos lleva a ver la urgencia de actuar, de seguir adelante. Las compañeras y compañeros detenidas forman parte de distintos proyectos, espacios, colectivos, etcétera, y es muy importante que esto no decaiga, que la ruina (en todos los sentidos) a la que suelen llevar este tipo de situaciones no genere ipotencia y un sentimiento de parálisis. Siempre decimos que “la mejor solidaridad es continuar la lucha”. Vale, pero ¿qué significa en la práctica eso? También coreamos que “si tocan a unas nos tocan a todas”. Esto se ha dejado evidenciar en las respuestas y protestas que hubieron en diferentes puntos, así como el calor incondicional de las compas que están fuera. De una cosa podemos estar seguras, y es que las compañeras y compañeros detenidos pueden sentir ese calor que traspasa los barrotes y el aislamiento, porque es ese mismo calor que en diferentes ocasiones también ellas han sabido dar.Barcelona, 18 de diciembre de 2014 |
